By inviting, using, or interacting with the MatchPoint Discord bot ("the Bot"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Bot.

2. Description of Service

MatchPoint is a Discord bot designed to facilitate VALORANT custom game hosting and matchmaking for the NL/BE community. The Bot provides features including:

• Queue management and matchmaking
• Automatic Discord channel creation for games
• Rank-based team balancing
• Voting systems for game decisions
• Voice presence monitoring

3. User Responsibilities

When using MatchPoint, you agree to:

• Comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
• Not abuse, exploit, or manipulate the Bot's features
• Not use the Bot for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Respect other users and maintain a positive community environment
• Ensure your Discord roles accurately reflect your VALORANT rank

4. Server Administrator Responsibilities

Server administrators who invite the Bot agree to:

• Grant necessary permissions for the Bot to function properly
• Configure rank roles correctly for accurate matchmaking
• Moderate Bot usage within their server
• Take responsibility for user conduct in their server

5. Data Collection and Privacy

The Bot collects and stores minimal data necessary for operation. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information about data handling.

6. Service Availability

We strive to keep the Bot operational 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Bot may experience:

• Scheduled maintenance
• Unexpected downtime
• Service interruptions due to Discord API issues
• Feature changes or updates

We are not liable for any disruption of service or loss of data.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Bot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for:

• User conduct within games or Discord servers
• Loss of game data or progress
• Disputes between users
• VALORANT account actions or bans
• Third-party service failures

8. Termination

We reserve the right to:

• Terminate or suspend access to the Bot at any time
• Block servers or users from using the Bot
• Modify or discontinue features
• Delete user data in accordance with our Privacy Policy

9. Intellectual Property

MatchPoint is independently developed and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Riot Games, Inc. VALORANT and all related marks are trademarks of Riot Games, Inc.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Continued use of the Bot after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
